Kiora, Behemoth Beckoner + Displacer Kitten + Isochron Scepter + The Chain Veil + Sol Ring

Verdict
Yes — this 5-card loop generates infinite storm count and infinite Isochron Scepter copies in any Simic shell that wants a planeswalker-anchored engine.

The Chain Veil doubles Kiora's activations for the turn; she untaps Sol Ring and Isochron Scepter, Sol Ring covers the Scepter's 2-mana cost, and the imprinted instant triggers Displacer Kitten to blink Kiora back to full loyalty and reset The Chain Veil. Any non-permanent-removing, non-counterspell instant with no mandatory illegal target on the Scepter keeps the chain live. Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait and Rashmi, Eternities Crafter are the natural commander shells — both want Kiora for the untap and can tutor the artifact pieces.
Recipe
How it works
01
Prerequisites
You have an instant card exiled with Isochron Scepter that does not remove a permanent and/or counter a spell, and that has legal targets, if needed. Kiora has at least three loyalty counters on it.
02
Steps
- Activate Sol Ring by tapping it, adding
.
- Activate The Chain Veil by paying
and tapping it, allowing an extra activation of your planeswalkers' loyalty abilities this turn.
- Activate Kiora's loyalty ability twice by removing two loyalty counters from it, untapping Sol Ring and Isochron Scepter.
- Activate Sol Ring by tapping it, adding
.
- Activate Isochron Scepter by paying
and tapping it, casting a copy of the exiled card without paying its mana cost.
- Displacer Kitten triggers, blinking Kiora.
- Resolve the copy of the instant card.
- Repeat from step 3.
03
Result
Infinite copies of cards exiled with Isochron Scepter; Infinite magecraft triggers; Infinite storm count
Variations
Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines
The Chain Veil is the hardest piece to replace here; without it, Kiora's activations don't reset, so there is no clean substitute. Drop Sol Ring for any other 2-mana-producing rock like Arcane Signet or Simic Signet if Sol Ring is unavailable. The loop produces infinite storm but no inherent win — close with Grapeshot, Brain Freeze, or Aetherflux Reservoir depending on what the deck's instant slot already supports.
