Zulaport Duelist enters and forces your opponent to discard a card — a free piece of hand disruption stapled to a 2/1 body for two mana. It's narrow enough that only dedicated discard and graveyard shells will want it, but inside those decks it pulls real weight.
Format Analysis

Zulaport Duelist is a bulk common, so it sees essentially no play in Legacy, Modern, or Pioneer — faster, more powerful discard options crowd it out entirely. In Pauper it's at least legal at its rarity, but dedicated discard decks there have better one-drops that apply pressure earlier. Commander is where Zulaport Duelist has its best case: discard synergy commanders like Tinybones, Trinket Thief or Syr Konrad, the Grim can exploit the forced discard, and the 2/1 body at least blocks or trades.

Price Context
Current price
$0.14 bulk tier
At $0.14, Zulaport Duelist is deep bulk — you'll find it in a common box long before you'd bother ordering it. That price will hold; there's no scarcity argument for a card this replaceable.
