Zombie Scavengers is a three-mana 3/1 that can exile cards from your graveyard to regenerate itself — a persistent attacker that trades up on blocks and refuses to stay dead. The regeneration cost is steep enough that you're rarely doing anything else on the turn you save it, but in a dedicated Zombie or graveyard deck the recursion loop is real.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | not legal |
| pioneer | not legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
In Commander, Zombie Scavengers earns a slot only in tribal Zombie builds, where the creature type does more work than the stats alone justify. Legacy and Vintage have access to far more efficient threats, so Zombie Scavengers sees no meaningful play in either format. Pauper is where the card is most plausible competitively — a regenerating common creature in a black aggro or Zombie shell at least passes the baseline test — though even there the one-toughness body is a liability. The card is not legal in Modern, Pioneer, or Standard.

Price Context
Current price
$0.09 bulk tier
At $0.09, Zombie Scavengers is deep bulk — buy a playset for less than the shipping matters. That price is stable by definition: there's no demand pressure to push it up, and nothing in its design profile suggests a reprint premium.
