Wojek Apothecary spreads +1/+1 counters from any creature to all creatures sharing a color with it — a passive counter-distribution engine that scales with board width. The catch is the mandatory trigger: in the wrong deck, you're buffing opponents' creatures as readily as your own.

Wojek Apothecary lives almost exclusively in Commander, where counter-synergy decks — Atraxa, Praetors' Voice; Hamza, Guardian of Arashin; any Simic +1/+1 counter shell — can turn its passive into a board-wide snowball. In Legacy, Modern, and Vintage it's technically legal but wholly unplayed: three mana for a 2/2 with no immediate impact is not a proposition those formats will entertain. Commander is the only context where Wojek Apothecary earns its slot, and even there it rewards deliberate deckbuilding around monocolored creature packages or tight color-identity stacks.
