Wildfire Howl deals damage to each opponent equal to the number of Wolves and Werewolves you control — the ceiling is real in a tribal deck that goes wide. Two mana at instant speed makes it a clean finisher when the board is stacked.

Wildfire Howl is a Commander card in the strictest sense — it does nothing outside a dedicated Wolf or Werewolf tribal shell, and those shells only reliably exist at the 100-card singleton table. In Standard and Pioneer it competes with better burn in aggressive red decks that rarely invest in the creature type at scale. Modern and Legacy have no interest; the damage output requires board commitment those formats punish before you get there. Commander is where Wildfire Howl earns its slot: a Tovolar, Dire Overlord deck that goes wide can close out a table with this at instant speed before anyone sees it coming.

Price Context
Current price
$0.06 bulk tier
At $0.06, Wildfire Howl is deep bulk — zero barrier to picking up four copies if you need them. Bulk tribal payoffs rarely appreciate unless the archetype gets a marquee commander push, so treat this as a freely-swappable slot rather than a hold.
