Wildfire Elemental is a Commander card through and through — the ability only scales when multiple opponents are losing life simultaneously, which is structurally unique to multiplayer. In Pauper it's legal but outclassed by cheaper aggressive commons that don't need three opponents to matter. Modern, Pioneer, and Legacy have zero interest: competitive creature strategies demand either evasion, immediate board impact, or a lower mana cost, and Wildfire Elemental offers none of those. Stick to Commander, and specifically to token-flooding or combat-step-stacking decks where triggering the pump multiple times per turn is realistic.
