Wild Unraveling hits every opponent's hand and graveyard simultaneously — each player discards half their hand and exiles half their graveyard at instant speed, which is a massive disruption swing for six mana. It's a niche but real tool in decks that want to strip resources at end of turn before untapping with a dominant board state.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t

Commander is where Wild Unraveling actually earns a slot — hitting three opponents simultaneously means one cast can strip nine or more cards from hands and exile three graveyards' worth of recursion targets in a single action. Outside Commander, the effect is too slow and too symmetry-adjacent to compete: in Modern, Pioneer, or Legacy, targeted discard and graveyard hate at a lower mana cost makes Wild Unraveling redundant. It's legal in Standard but unlikely to see play there either, since four-of format construction demands consistency over broad one-shot impact. Treat it as a Commander-exclusive card that occasionally shows up in Oathbreaker for the same multi-opponent disruption logic.

Price Context
Current price
$0.15 bulk tier
At $0.15, Wild Unraveling is deep bulk — you're paying for cardboard, not demand. That price is stable in the sense that a card this narrow rarely spikes, but it also won't rise without a breakout Commander build that puts the effect on the map.
