Wild Ride is legal in every format but does almost no work outside Commander, where the combination of Limit Break synergies and token-wide combat tricks gives it specific homes. In non-rotating formats like Modern and Legacy, one-mana pump spells compete against Mutagenic Growth and Scale Up, which provide more permanent or wider effect — Wild Ride's haste clause doesn't compensate enough. In Standard it's technically playable but lacks a compelling reason to run it over alternatives that leave a body or generate card advantage.
