Wild Hunger gives a creature +3/+1 and trample until end of turn, and the flashback means you get that pump twice for a total of four mana across two spells. It's efficient enough for aggressive creature decks, but it's still a combat trick — build around it or skip it.
Format Analysis

In Commander, Wild Hunger earns its slot in stompy or Voltron builds that need cheap, repeatable burst damage — flashback doubles the value off a single draw, which matters when card velocity is a luxury. In Pauper, where common-only aggro and green stompy strategies are real, Wild Hunger is a legitimate two-for-one threat that closes races and blanks blocks. Legacy and Vintage are too fast and too tuned for a combat trick at this rate to register. The card doesn't exist in Pioneer or Standard, so those conversations are moot.

Price Context
Current price
$0.05 bulk tier
At $0.05, Wild Hunger is deep bulk — you're picking it out of a common box, not a store listing. At that price it always holds its value in the sense that bulk floor is basically permanent, but there's no upside to hold; just buy the copy when you need it.
