White Auracite card art
White Auracite enters as a Materia counter-loaded artifact that feeds directly into Cloud, Planet's Champion's limit-break payoffs, and it costs a single colorless mana to deploy. Bulk rate, immediate contribution to the counter economy — it's an auto-include in any deck running the Final Fantasy Materia theme.

White Auracite is legal everywhere but built for Commander, where the Final Fantasy Materia synergy network is thick enough to justify a one-mana artifact with no immediate board impact beyond its counter payload. In sixty-card formats — Standard, Pioneer, Modern, Legacy, Vintage — there's no support structure for Materia counters, so the card is a blank outside niche brews. Pauper is the one non-Commander format where cheap artifacts occasionally find homes, but without a counter payoff engine White Auracite brings nothing. Play it in Commander or leave it in the bulk bin.

Price Context

Current price

$0.19 bulk tier

At $0.19, White Auracite is deep bulk — the kind of card you pick up without thinking about it. Price stability is essentially guaranteed since it can only go up if the Final Fantasy Commander archetype sustains long-term demand, and even then the ceiling is modest.
