Wall of Vipers is a 1/4 defender that kills whatever damages it, which sounds better than it plays — the activated sacrifice ability costs four mana and requires a target, making it a slow, expensive removal piece stapled to a wall that can't attack. It earns a slot only in decks that specifically abuse sacrifice triggers or deathtouch synergies; everywhere else, it's outclassed.

Wall of Vipers is legal in Commander, Legacy, Vintage, and Oathbreaker, and irrelevant in all of them outside narrow tribal or sacrifice builds. In Commander, the four-mana activation to destroy a creature is simply too costly when most decks at that price point are playing actual removal spells — Wall of Vipers only pulls ahead when you can loop the sacrifice for value with an aristocrats or recursion engine. Legacy and Vintage have no interest in a 1/4 that can't attack and asks for four mana to kill something. Oathbreaker follows the same logic as Commander at smaller scale.

Price Context
Current price
$0.19 bulk tier
At $0.19, Wall of Vipers is deep bulk — you're not paying for power, you're paying for the specific niche. That price is stable simply because demand is low and supply is plentiful, so don't expect movement in either direction.
