Wall of Corpses trades itself for any creature — a zero-setup removal spell stapled to a 0/1 body that blocks first. The activation cost is your own creature, which makes it a niche include, but in sacrifice-matters decks the asymmetry becomes an upside.

| modern | not legal |
| pioneer | not legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Wall of Corpses sees essentially no competitive play in Legacy or Vintage, where the creature-sacrifice cost is too steep compared to unconditional removal at instant speed. Commander is its real home: sacrifice loops, aristocrats engines, and death-trigger commanders all convert the activation cost into fuel rather than a tax. In Pauper, where creature-based strategies are common and common-rarity removal is sometimes scarce, Wall of Corpses is a passable budget answer, though slower decks will ignore it. Oathbreaker mirrors Commander closely — valid in the right shell, irrelevant outside it.

Price Context
Current price
$0.16 bulk tier
At $0.16, Wall of Corpses is deep bulk — expect to find it in a commons box rather than a singles listing. That price is stable by definition; there's no demand pressure to move it, and its narrow role keeps it from breaking out.
