Vrock is a 4/3 flyer for five mana that deals 1 damage to each opponent whenever you cycle or discard a card, stacking up fast in dedicated wheel and cycling shells. The rate is unimpressive in a vacuum, but in a deck that discards multiple cards per turn, that damage adds up to a real clock.

Vrock lives almost entirely in Commander, where its damage trigger scales with the number of opponents and wheels are a first-class archetype — commanders like Nekusar, the Mindrazer or Xyris, the Writhing Storm turn every group discard event into chip damage from multiple sources simultaneously. In Legacy and Vintage it's legal but has no realistic home; a five-mana creature that deals 1 damage per discard isn't competing in those formats. Commander is the only place Vrock does what it was designed to do.

Price Context
Current price
$0.15 bulk tier
At $0.15, Vrock is deep bulk — you'll find it in bulk bins or pick it up as a throw-in without thinking twice. That price reflects honest supply and demand; it's a narrow role-player that won't spike unless a new discard commander breaks out and drags the whole archetype with it.
