Voice of the Woods converts a board of five Elves into a 7/7 trampler every turn — that's a closing threat that scales with the tribe. The five-mana body is a real cost, but pair it with Intruder Alarm and the math gets out of hand fast.

Commander is where Voice of the Woods actually lives — Elf tribal is one of the most supported archetypes in the format, and a repeatable 7/7 trample token is exactly what green go-wide decks want to close games. Legacy and Vintage legality is technically real, but no competitive list there has ever wanted a five-mana do-nothing-when-you-cast-it creature. Voice of the Woods is a Commander card through and through, and a focused one at that — it only earns its slot when you can reliably field five Elves before it hits the table.

$0.26 bulk tier
At $0.26, Voice of the Woods is deep bulk — no barrier to picking up copies. The price has nowhere meaningful to go given its narrow tribal application and lack of competitive demand outside Commander.
