Vintara Snapper is legal in Commander, Legacy, Vintage, and Oathbreaker, and irrelevant in all the others. In Legacy and Vintage it's too slow — two mana for a 4/4 with a conditional upside doesn't compete with what those formats are doing on turns one and two. Commander is where Vintara Snapper actually earns a slot: the longer game means you'll regularly have untapped lands available at end of turn, shroud protects it from targeted removal and bounce, and a 4/4 for two is a meaningful blocker or attacker in the early game.
