Urza's Engine

Artifact Creature — Juggernaut

Trample
{3}: This creature gains banding until end of turn. (Any creatures with banding, and up to one without, can attack in a band. Bands are blocked as a group. If any creatures with banding you control are blocking or being blocked by a creature, you divide that creature's combat damage, not its controller, among any of the creatures it's being blocked by or is blocking.)

Urza's Engine card art
Urza's Engine puts a 3/5 trampler on the board that pumps itself for two mana each turn and destroys artifacts when it attacks — meaningful pressure for six mana. The cost is real: six mana is a lot to ask for a creature with no immediate impact, and any removal spell before your next attack step strands the whole investment.

In Commander, Urza's Engine is a fringe inclusion — the six-mana investment buys a 3/5 trample body and conditional artifact removal, which is fine but rarely better than purpose-built options at that slot. Legacy and Vintage have access to it on paper but the card sees no meaningful play there; powered formats have better things to do at six mana. Oathbreaker is the one context where its artifact-hate ability could matter more, depending on the local meta.

$0.21 bulk tier

At $0.21, Urza's Engine is deep bulk — you're paying for cardboard, not scarcity. Bulk rares and uncommons at this price point rarely move unless a combo or format shift finds them, and nothing on the horizon suggests this one will.
