Commander is where Urge to Feed earns its keep — vampire tribal is a heavily supported archetype in black-red, and a two-mana instant that removes a creature while buffing your team is exactly the kind of card that pulls double weight in a 99-card list. In Legacy and Vintage it's legal but irrelevant; Fatal Push, Swords to Plowshares, and friends are strictly better removal at the same cost or less, and the vampire synergy payoff doesn't factor into those formats. Urge to Feed is a Commander card through and through.
