Unified Front puts one 1/1 Warrior token onto the battlefield for each player at the table — in a four-player Commander pod, that's four bodies for four mana. It's firmly a multiplayer-only payoff; the card does close to nothing in 1v1.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|

| modern | legal |
| pioneer | legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | not legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Unified Front is built for Commander and nowhere else. Four mana for four tokens at a full table is a reasonable rate, and the headcount scales down in smaller pods without becoming a complete blank. In Legacy, Modern, and Pioneer it's legal but unplayed — competitive formats don't reward sorcery-speed token generation that relies on opponents being present to hit its ceiling. Oathbreaker sits in the same boat as Commander: two-player games cut the yield in half, but multiplayer pods unlock the same four-token ceiling.

Price Context
Current price
$0.09 bulk tier
At $0.09, Unified Front is deep bulk — you're picking it out of a dollar box, not tracking it down. Bulk token producers at this price point don't appreciate unless a Commander printing pushes demand, so treat it as a throw-in, not a hold.
