Undead Sprinter enters the battlefield and immediately draws a card when it attacks, which is a lot of upside stapled to a two-mana 2/2 with trample and haste. The cost is that both abilities care about Treasure — you need Pitiless Plunderer or a similar token engine running to get full mileage, and without that support it's just a decent beater. Shadow the Hedgehog decks have the token density to make this sing; everyone else should audit their Treasure count first.

Shadow the Hedgehog
Shadow the Hedgehog's entire gameplan revolves around Treasure generation and sacrificing artifacts for value, which means Undead Sprinter arrives with haste, swings the same turn, and draws a card off an existing Treasure — every piece of the card does real work immediately.

In Commander, Undead Sprinter is a role-player in Treasure-centric builds where it cycles itself on attack and pressures at two mana. Outside of those shells it's too conditional — the draw trigger requires a Treasure, and in a 100-card singleton format you can't guarantee that assembly every game. In 60-card formats like Modern and Pioneer, it's similarly niche: aggressive black decks want more reliable bodies, and midrange decks have better two-drops. Standard is the one place it might carve a slot if Treasure synergies exist in the current pool, but it's not a format staple. Legacy and Vintage don't need a 2/2 at this rate.

$0.24 bulk tier
At $0.24, Undead Sprinter is bulk — easy to acquire and easy to cut if the Treasure engine doesn't materialize in your build. Bulk rares with narrow tribal or mechanic requirements rarely climb unless a new commander or card breaks the synergy wide open, so treat it as a cheap include rather than a hold.
