Uncaged Fury gives a creature double strike and +1/+1 for three mana at instant speed — on a big enough threat, that's a lethal swing out of nowhere. It's a one-shot pump spell, not a permanent investment, so you're running it in decks that can close a game with one hit.
Format Analysis

In Commander, Uncaged Fury earns its slot in Voltron and combat-damage-trigger shells where one hit ending the game justifies a three-mana instant — the surprise double strike is the whole point. In Pauper, it sees occasional play in red aggro as a finisher, though Temur Battle Rage does the same job for one less mana and usually wins that comparison. Modern and Pioneer have faster, cheaper options, so Uncaged Fury barely registers in those formats outside budget brews. Legacy and Vintage have no meaningful use case for a three-mana pump spell. Commander is where Uncaged Fury actually belongs.

Price Context
Current price
$0.09 bulk tier
At $0.09, Uncaged Fury is pure bulk — you're picking it out of a dollar box, not tracking it. That price is stable because supply is deep and Temur Battle Rage exists, so don't expect any upward movement.
