In Commander, Turntimber Grove is a fringe include for dedicated +1/+1 counter synergy decks — the enters-tapped penalty is real, but a free counter on a land drop costs nothing in deck slots. In Legacy, Modern, and Vintage, it simply doesn't compete: the tempo loss of an enters-tapped land is disqualifying in environments where every land drop matters, and better utility lands exist at every price point. Pauper is the one format where it sees occasional play in counter-themed green decks that genuinely struggle to find on-theme lands at common.
