Tundra Fumarole deals damage equal to the number of snow permanents you control — in a dedicated snow shell that number gets large fast, making this a legitimate finisher or removal spell in the same card. The cost is that outside of snow, it's a blank, so it earns zero slots in generic blue-red decks.
Format Analysis

Tundra Fumarole is a Commander card almost exclusively — the snow synergy payoff requires a critical mass of snow permanents that only a dedicated 100-card build can reliably assemble. In Legacy and Vintage it's theoretically legal but competes with interaction so efficient that a conditional damage spell at sorcery speed doesn't register. Modern and Pioneer have snow-matters cards, but the format's speed means you rarely have the board state to make Tundra Fumarole lethal before a faster deck closes the game. Stick to Commander, where you have the turns and the redundancy to make snow count.

Price Context
Current price
$0.43 bulk tier
At $0.43, Tundra Fumarole sits firmly in bulk territory — the price of a card you grab without thinking twice when building a snow Commander deck. It's unlikely to climb unless a new pushed snow commander drives sudden demand.
