Tumbleweed Rising puts a potentially massive trampling Elemental onto the battlefield for three mana — the token's power and toughness equal your land count, so it scales hard in any green deck that hits eight or more lands. It's a legitimate late-game threat that costs almost nothing to include.

In Commander, Tumbleweed Rising earns its slot in any green deck that routinely hits ten-plus lands — landfall builds, Valakut-style ramp shells, and Simic goodstuff all turn it into a 12/12 or bigger trampler for three mana. Outside Commander, the card is legal in every major format but sees almost no competitive play: Pioneer and Modern move too fast for a sorcery-speed token that requires land investment to become threatening, and Legacy has Marit Lage for that archetype. Pauper is the one non-Commander venue worth watching if aggressive land-matters strategies ever coalesce there.

$0.12 bulk tier
At $0.12, Tumbleweed Rising is deep bulk — grab a copy out of any common/uncommon bin without a second thought. Bulk rares with genuine Commander upside rarely spike hard, but this one does exactly what it says on the tin for essentially zero financial commitment.
