Troublemaker Ouphe shuts off activated abilities of artifacts the moment it enters — no tap, no sacrifice, no cost payment — while strapping a repeatable fight ability onto a 2/2 body for four mana total. The rate is fair, not spectacular, but the stapled disruption makes it worth serious consideration in any green deck that expects to see Sol Ring, Sensei's Divining Top, or Krark-Clan Ironworks across the table.

In Commander, Troublemaker Ouphe fills the niche between Collector Ouphe and a removal spell — you get the artifact lockdown and a way to spend mana productively by fighting down blockers or threatening planeswalkers. Legacy and Vintage are too fast for a four-mana creature with no immediate board impact beyond a soft lock, and dedicated artifact hate at two mana (Collector Ouphe itself, Null Rod) does the job more efficiently in those formats. Modern and Pioneer have enough artifact-reliant strategies that the fight rider adds real utility, but the four-mana ask competes with Haywire Mite and Suncleanser at lower curves. Pauper is where Troublemaker Ouphe looks most appealing outside Commander — common-legal artifact disruption that doubles as a combat trick is genuinely scarce at that rarity.

Price Context
Current price
$0.29 bulk tier
At $0.29, Troublemaker Ouphe is bulk — easy to pick up as a throw-in or from a cheap singles order. The price is unlikely to move unless it finds a breakout Commander home, so grab it for its utility rather than any expectation of appreciation.
