In Commander, Travel Preparations earns its slot in any white-green deck that runs counters synergies — the flashback clause turns one card into two triggers for Hardened Scales, Renata, Called to the Hunt, or any similar payoff. In Pauper, the card sees play in dedicated counters and go-wide strategies where the two-for-one efficiency at common rarity is hard to beat.
