Trained Orgg swings as a 6/6 trample for four mana, which is a legitimately above-rate body — the catch is it can't attack or block if you control any creatures with power less than its own. That restriction is crippling in most builds and makes this a bulk rare for good reason.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t

| modern | not legal |
| pioneer | not legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | not legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Trained Orgg is legal in Commander, Legacy, Vintage, and Oathbreaker, but sees essentially no competitive play in any of them. In Commander, the creature-count density of most decks makes the attack restriction a persistent liability — you'll routinely be locked out of attacking by your own mana dorks or utility creatures. Legacy and Vintage have access to far more efficient threats, and a conditional 6/6 with no evasion beyond trample doesn't come close to the power threshold those formats demand. Oathbreaker shares Commander's problem: spell-heavy builds are the exception, not the rule.

Price Context
Current price
$0.18 bulk tier
At $0.18, Trained Orgg is deep bulk — the kind of card that fills a commons box. It won't appreciate; the supply is large and demand is essentially zero outside of nostalgia or oddball restriction-matters builds.
