Touch of Moonglove
Instant
Target creature you control gets +1/+0 and gains deathtouch until end of turn. Whenever a creature dealt damage by that creature dies this turn, its controller loses 2 life. (Any amount of damage a creature with deathtouch deals to a creature is enough to destroy it.)

Touch of Moonglove turns any creature that deals combat damage into a drain engine — opponents lose life equal to that damage, you gain it, all for one black mana at instant speed. It's a narrow card with a high ceiling in deathtouch or token-aristocrats shells and a floor of zero in anything else.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t

Touch of Moonglove is a Commander card almost by definition — the life-drain effect scales with board states that only multiplayer games produce, and deathtouch synergy decks have enough density in the 100-card format to make it a consistent payoff. In Pauper it's technically castable but competes with more reliable black removal and drain effects at the same mana cost, so it rarely makes the cut outside dedicated deathtouch brews. Legacy, Vintage, Pioneer, and Modern are all too fast and too interactive for a combat-step-dependent aura to matter; Touch of Moonglove simply doesn't do enough in formats where games end before the combat math pays off.

$0.10 bulk tier
At $0.10, Touch of Moonglove is deep bulk — it won't cost you anything to try and costs nothing to cut if the synergy isn't there. Bulk commons like this don't appreciate; pick it up for the synergy, not the spec.
