Time Ebb

Time Ebb sees essentially no competitive play across any format because three-mana sorcery bounce is a losing rate — Vapor Snag, Brazen Borrower, and Cyclonic Rift all do more for less or with more flexibility. In Commander, the library placement is occasionally relevant against commanders with powerful ETBs, forcing a two-turn setback instead of a graveyard trigger, but the slot almost always belongs to a cheaper or instant-speed answer. Pauper is the one context where the card pool is constrained enough that it has seen fringe play in tempo shells, though even there it rarely makes the cut.
