Tilonalli's Skinshifter copies whatever creature you attack with, giving you a temporary clone that hits as hard as your best attacker for just two mana. The catch is that it reverts at end of combat, so the value is front-loaded — you're paying two mana for one combat's worth of the best creature on your board.

Tilonalli's Skinshifter is a Commander card through and through — the format's slower clock and creature-heavy tables give you repeated triggers and worthwhile targets to copy every turn. In aggressive creature decks, especially ones running Voltron or combat-centric strategies, the Skinshifter adds a second attacker at the power level of your best threat for two mana, which scales obscenely well. In 60-card formats like Modern or Pioneer it's too slow and too conditional — combat-focused two-drops have a much higher bar, and losing the copy at end of combat is brutal when games end on turn four. Legacy and Vintage have no interest in it for the same reason.

Pricing data isn't available for Tilonalli's Skinshifter right now, so check Scryfall or your preferred retailer for the current market rate. Given its narrow application and low competitive demand, it's likely a bulk rare — worth picking up cheaply if it fits your deck, but not a card to hunt down at a premium.
