Thornglint Bridge enters untapped and grants indestructibility to your artifacts and creatures — that's a real, permanent board protection effect stapled to a land that costs you nothing to play. The catch is it only taps for colorless, which makes it a liability in decks that need specific pips, but in artifact-heavy shells like Urtet, Remnant of Memnarch the colorless restriction barely registers.
Best Commanders
Commanders with the highest synergy

Urtet, Remnant of Memnarch
Urtet, Remnant of Memnarch runs a board full of Myr that it needs to survive sweepers, and Thornglint Bridge provides blanket indestructibility to the whole artifact army without spending a spell slot on it.

Toph, the First Metalbender
Toph, the First Metalbender animates lands as creatures, which means Thornglint Bridge's indestructibility clause protects those animated land-creatures from being killed in combat or by removal — a quietly meaningful layer of redundancy in a deck that depends on keeping lands alive.

In Commander, Thornglint Bridge earns its slot exclusively in artifact-focused decks where the colorless output is acceptable and the passive indestructibility shields your board from wraths. Outside Commander, it sees occasional Pauper play as budget indestructibility coverage in artifact shells where the land slot is flexible. Legacy and Vintage have access to far more powerful land options, so Thornglint Bridge doesn't compete there. Modern artifact decks generally want colored mana too badly to run it outside of very specific builds. Pioneer and Standard players have no access to it.

Price Context
Current price
$0.28 bulk tier
At $0.28, Thornglint Bridge is bulk — you're paying almost nothing for a niche but genuine effect. Bulk rares with a narrow home tend to stay flat, so there's no pressure to stock up, but picking up a copy for any artifact commander deck is a trivially cheap upgrade.
