Territorial Hammerskull taps down a blocker every time it attacks, giving you a repeatable pseudo-evasion effect stapled to a 3/1 body for three mana. Solid in go-wide dinosaur aggro; too fragile and narrow to earn a slot in most other Commander lists.

Territorial Hammerskull is a bulk common, and Pauper is the one format where its effect is genuinely competitive — taxing blockers matters more when creatures are smaller and removal is at a premium. In Modern and Pioneer the three-mana 3/1 rate is too slow to matter outside of dedicated dinosaur tribal, where it's a fringe inclusion at best. Commander is its natural home for dinosaur-tribal builds specifically, since the tap-on-attack clause scales reasonably when you're swinging with a full board of large creatures; outside of Gishath, Sun's Avatar and similar commanders it doesn't make the cut. Legacy and Vintage have no interest in this effect at any cost.

Price Context
Current price
$0.11 bulk tier
At $0.11, Territorial Hammerskull is deep bulk — you're picking it up as an afterthought in a collection or a cheap order filler. That price is stable because demand is narrow and supply is high; don't expect movement in either direction.
