Temur Monument taps for blue, green, or red mana and occasionally makes a 3/3 trampling hexproof Elemental when you cast a creature — solid utility for three mana, but the token trigger fires so infrequently in most games that it rarely decides anything. It's a role-player in creature-dense, color-hungry Commander decks, not a build-around.

In Commander, Temur Monument earns its slot in Temur or five-color decks that flood the board with creatures and want flexible mana fixing without leaning on basics — the occasional 3/3 hexproof token is a real bonus when you're chaining creatures on a single turn. Outside Commander, the card is legal in Standard, Pioneer, Modern, Legacy, Vintage, and Oathbreaker, but it doesn't see meaningful competitive play in any of them — three mana for a conditional token generator simply can't keep pace with faster formats.
