Talruum Champion card art
Talruum Champion is a 3/3 first striker for four mana with no enters-the-battlefield effect and no evasion — the rate is simply bad by any modern standard. It sees play only in highly themed Minotaur tribal lists, and even there it's competing for slots against cards that actually advance the board state.

Talruum Champion is legal in Commander, Legacy, Vintage, Pauper, and Oathbreaker, but sees essentially no competitive play in any of them. In Commander, its only real home is Minotaur tribal under a commander like Neheb, the Worthy, where tribal synergies prop up an otherwise undersized statline. Pauper is the format most forgiving of vanilla-adjacent creatures, but even there a four-mana 3/3 first striker without any enters-the-battlefield or activated ability struggles to justify inclusion. Legacy and Vintage have no use for it.

Pricing data for Talruum Champion isn't available in the current index, so check Scryfall or TCGPlayer for live numbers. As a bulk rare from an older set with narrow tribal appeal, it almost certainly sits in the pennies-to-quarter range — pick it up for the Minotaur deck without a second thought, but don't expect any upside beyond that.
