Sundering Vitae destroys any artifact or enchantment at instant speed, and in a convoke deck it costs nothing but creatures you were already tapping. It's a strict upgrade over Naturalize in any shell that goes wide.

In Commander, Sundering Vitae earns its slot in any token or convoke strategy — free interaction off a full board is exactly what those decks want. In Pauper, convoke shells are competitive enough that Sundering Vitae sees real play as a zero-mana answer to problem enchantments.
