Sun-Blessed Mount card art
Sun-Blessed Mount lands as a 3/3 flying vigilance creature that can attach an Aura from your hand or graveyard to it for free when it enters or attacks — that's a meaningful body plus free equip-equivalent value stapled together. The five-mana cost is real, but any deck already running Auras gets a two-for-one the moment this hits the table.

Format Analysis

Sun-Blessed Mount is a Commander card through and through — the power of free Aura attachment only scales with the density of enchantments a 100-card singleton deck can run, and multiplayer games give you the time to set up the Aura pile it wants. In competitive 1v1 formats like Legacy, Modern, and Pioneer it's simply too slow at five mana; dedicated Aura strategies in those formats win on turn two or three and have no interest in a 3/3 that needs to attack to trigger. Vintage is legal but irrelevant — the format's speed makes Sun-Blessed Mount a non-starter. Oathbreaker is the one alternative format where it's worth a second look, provided your planeswalker is enchantment-adjacent.
