In Commander, Summary Judgment earns a slot in any white deck that can consistently tap creatures before it resolves — think combat-heavy tables where attackers are always eligible targets. The exile clause matters: commanders, indestructible threats, and graveyard-value creatures all get cleanly answered. In Pauper, two-mana unconditional exile at common is a legitimate rate, and the format's creature-heavy aggro decks mean tapped targets are common. Modern and Pioneer have better unconditional options at similar costs, so Summary Judgment rarely makes those 60-card lists. Legacy and Vintage don't need it — the bar for white removal there is higher than 'tapped creature only.'

Price Context
Current price
$0.07 bulk tier
At $0.07, Summary Judgment is pure bulk — you're grabbing a playset out of a dollar bin without a second thought. The price reflects its conditional nature, and there's no reason to expect it to climb.
