Sultai Monument card art
Sultai Monument is a three-mana rock that taps for one of three colors and occasionally staples a keyword onto your creatures — the effect is real but slow. Slower metas can get mileage from it; anywhere the table is moving fast, it doesn't make the cut.

In Commander, Sultai Monument occupies the low-power tier of mana rocks — it fixes colors across black, green, and blue, but three mana for one mana of production is a tough sell when Arcane Signet and the two-mana rocks exist. The activated ability that grants creatures flying or trample or deathtouch until end of turn is genuinely useful in combat-focused Sultai builds, which is the only reason it sees play at all. Outside Commander, Sultai Monument has essentially no competitive presence in Modern, Pioneer, or Legacy, where three-mana do-little artifacts are unplayable. Standard-legal windows occasionally make it fringe-playable in limited environments, but constructed play has never had a use for it.

Price Context

Current price

$0.06 bulk tier

At $0.06, Sultai Monument is deep bulk — you're paying for cardboard and postage, not the card itself. It won't hold or gain value, but that's irrelevant: if it fits your build, the cost to try it is negligible.
