Storm the Seedcore puts +1/+1 counters on up to four creatures and gives them all trample and haste until end of turn — for three mana at instant speed, that's a combat blowout on demand. It's a staple in any green deck that goes wide with counters.

In Commander, Storm the Seedcore earns its slot in any green counters or wide-token strategy — instant speed means opponents can't cleanly block-plan around it, and the haste clause means it doubles as a finisher in decks that can go deep on creatures. In Modern and Pioneer, it's too narrow for most shells: green combat tricks compete with more flexible options and sorcery-speed threats don't punish opponents the way instant speed does here. Legacy and Vintage have no interest in a three-mana pump spell when the format demands interaction or faster wins. Storm the Seedcore is, functionally, a Commander card.

Price Context
Current price
$0.07 bulk tier
At $0.07, Storm the Seedcore is deep bulk — pay pennies and don't look back. It's unlikely to spike unless a future Commander precon puts it in front of a mass audience, but at this price there's no reason to wait.
