Stoic Champion rewards mono-color commitment with a sizeable power boost, but a 2/2 body for three mana that does nothing the turn it enters is a tough sell in a format full of faster threats. It earns a slot only in decks built explicitly around white or mono-color payoffs — everywhere else it's outclassed.

In Commander, Stoic Champion is a niche inclusion at best — mono-white and white-heavy Voltron or aggro decks can trigger it consistently, but the three-mana 2/2 baseline makes it easy to cut when more impactful options exist. Legacy and Vintage are legal but uninterested; the formats move too fast for a creature that needs a deck-building constraint just to trade with a Tarmogoyf. Stoic Champion is effectively a Commander-only consideration, and even there it competes hard against creatures that generate value without requiring a mono-color build.

Pricing data isn't currently available for Stoic Champion, so check Scryfall or TCGPlayer for a current figure. Given its narrow application, it's unlikely to command a premium — expect it to sit in bulk or near-bulk territory unless a dedicated mono-white deck pushes demand.
