Stenchskipper enters as a 3/3 flyer and pings each opponent for 1 whenever a nontoken creature you control dies — on a 4-mana body that scales up with each death trigger, the damage adds up fast in sacrifice-heavy shells. It's a solid roleplayer in black-green aristocrats, not a bomb, but the life drain is real and the evasion matters.

In Commander, Stenchskipper earns its slot in aristocrats builds that already want creatures dying every turn — three opponents means each ping is tripled in cumulative life loss, and the 3/3 flying body is a reasonable threat on top. In Legacy and Vintage it's outclassed by a deep field of four-drops and sees essentially no competitive play. Modern has better payoffs at the same mana cost, so Stenchskipper doesn't crack those lists either. Oathbreaker mirrors the Commander logic in miniature — if your planeswalker strategy involves a sacrifice loop, the drain is a legitimate closer.

Price Context
Current price
$0.31 bulk tier
At $0.31, Stenchskipper is deep bulk — pick it up out of any common-rare box without a second thought. Demand is narrow enough that the price is unlikely to move unless a high-profile aristocrats commander drives widespread adoption.
