Stalwart Valkyrie is a 3/2 flier that costs only two mana if you exile a creature card from your graveyard on cast — a genuinely strong rate for any deck stacking Angels or filling its bin. The condition is light enough that it's rarely a vanilla 3/2, and a 3/2 flier for two is already above curve.

In Commander, Stalwart Valkyrie earns its slot in Angel tribal decks and any white strategy that generates a graveyard naturally — reanimator shells, sacrifice loops, or self-mill payoffs all trigger the discount without any extra work. Pauper is where the card sees its most competitive pressure: a 3/2 flier for two is a genuine threat in a format where evasion at that rate is rare, and white-based skies decks are always looking for bodies that pull ahead on rate. In Modern and Legacy the competition at two mana is steep enough that Stalwart Valkyrie is unlikely to see serious play outside of dedicated Angel synergy builds, but it's never embarrassing to cast.

Price Context
Current price
$0.07 bulk tier
At $0.07, Stalwart Valkyrie is deep bulk — pick up a playset for the cost of a sleeve. That price is stable; there's no scarcity driving it up, and the card is common enough that demand spikes won't move it meaningfully.
