Stalwart Pathlighter is a Commander card — full stop. In 100-card singleton, the Human tribal density needed to justify a three-mana 2/2 exists consistently, and the counter-stacking synergy with lords like Kyler, Sigardian Emissary rewards the build. Legacy and Vintage are technically legal, but competitive Human lists in those formats run creatures that do far more for two mana and have no use for a tap-out 2/2 at three. Oathbreaker follows the same logic as Commander: fine in a dedicated Human shell, invisible everywhere else.
