In Commander, Sprouting Renewal competes in a crowded field of green artifact and enchantment removal, and the convoke mode is what sets it apart — in a wide token board, it costs nothing while still answering a Rhystic Study or Sol Ring. Pauper is where Sprouting Renewal gets genuine respect: modal flexibility and convoke synergy with token producers make it a real option in green-white go-wide lists. In Modern and Pioneer it's too slow and too low-impact to see serious play, but it's technically legal if a convoke synergy deck ever needs the extra copies. Legacy and Vintage have no interest.
