Spire Phantasm is a 2/3 flying illusion that replaces itself with a free Clue when it dies — reasonable body, relevant evasion, built-in card advantage. The catch is the illusion clause: any opponent who targets it can bounce it back to your hand, which makes it fragile in removal-heavy pods.

In Commander, Spire Phantasm fits illusion tribal lists and any blue deck that wants a cheap, evasive body that doesn't brick on death. The bounce-on-target clause is a real liability at a table full of interaction, but the Clue softens the loss. Legacy and Vintage have access to it on paper, but neither format has any reason to run a three-mana 2/3 when the competition is Delver of Secrets and True-Name Nemesis. Spire Phantasm is essentially a Commander-only card in practice.

$0.06 bulk tier
At $0.06, Spire Phantasm is deep bulk — you'll find it in a commons box before you'd bother ordering it. Bulk illusion tribal pieces don't appreciate unless the tribe gets a pushed lord or a breakout commander, so treat it as a free inclusion, not a pickup.
