Spectacular Showdown is legal in Commander, Legacy, Vintage, and Oathbreaker, but Commander is where it actually belongs — the multiplayer combat politics of goad decks create the exact crowded attack steps the card was built to exploit. In Legacy and Vintage, a three-mana sorcery that requires you to already be in combat has no realistic home; those formats kill before this comes online.
