Spark Elemental swings for 3 trampling, haste damage the turn it lands — then disappears, making it a one-shot burn spell stapled to a creature body. Outside of niche sacrifice loops or commanders like Titania, Nature's Force that want elementals entering and leaving, that's not a trade worth making.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t

| modern | legal |
| pioneer | not legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Spark Elemental is legal in Commander, Legacy, Modern, Vintage, Pauper, and Oathbreaker, but sees virtually no play in any of them. In Commander, three damage spread across one player barely registers at a 40-life table, and the mandatory sacrifice on end step means you're not even keeping a blocker. Pauper is the most plausible home — burn strategies exist and commons are scarce — but even there, Spark Elemental competes with direct damage spells that don't require a creature slot and aren't blanked by a single blocker. Legacy and Vintage have access to so many efficient threats that this never makes the cut.

Current price
$0.24 bulk tier
At $0.24, Spark Elemental is deep bulk — the price of a card nobody is actively seeking out. It holds that floor because casual and elemental-tribal players occasionally pick up a copy, but don't expect movement in either direction.
