Sorcerer of the Fang

In Commander, Sorcerer of the Fang is a fringe card — playable in Snake tribal builds but rarely a priority inclusion outside them. The three-mana activation is brutal in a multiplayer format where you need to develop your board and answer threats simultaneously. Pauper is where it theoretically has the most room, since the card pool is narrow enough that a repeatable drain effect on a common body carries more relative weight. In Legacy, Modern, and Pioneer, it simply doesn't compete — the efficiency bar is too high and the effect too slow for any constructed deck that isn't explicitly built around it.
