Sludge Crawler is a one-mana Eldrazi Drone that makes itself unblockable for a colorless mana — cheap evasion on a body that also feeds devoid synergies and Eldrazi Scion generation. The floor is low, but in the right shell the repeatable unblockability is real utility for a negligible investment.

In Commander, Sludge Crawler earns its slot almost exclusively in Eldrazi tribal builds where devoid matters and every Scion token has a job to do. Outside that shell, a 1/1 with a paid unblockability trigger doesn't compete for a roster spot. In Pauper it's legal and theoretically slots into colorless aggro, but the format's efficient threats make a 1/1 body hard to justify unless the unblockability is doing meaningful work. Legacy, Modern, and Vintage are non-starters — Sludge Crawler is simply outclassed by everything at that power level.
