Skyscanner is a fringe Pauper card at best — the format is fast and unforgiving, and a three-mana 1/2 flyer that draws one card is borderline playable only in artifact-matters shells or when ETB abuse is available. In Commander, it finds its real home: redundant cantripping creatures are currency in decks built around Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker or mass-blink strategies, and Skyscanner's artifact type adds a second axis of relevance. Modern, Pioneer, Legacy, and Vintage have no serious use for it — the rate is simply too low when one-mana cantrips and two-mana value creatures set the baseline. Oathbreaker mirrors Commander's dynamics closely enough that the same Shirei-style loops apply if the format's build supports them.
