In Commander, Skirk Commando fits narrowly into Goblin tribal decks where the Goblin type and the on-hit removal matter together — Krenko, Mob Boss and Wort, Boggart Auntie lists occasionally run it for the damage trigger, but it's rarely a staple. In Pauper, where commons compete at a higher density and efficient bodies matter more, Skirk Commando is too conditional to see real play — a 2/1 for three that only removes a creature if it isn't blocked doesn't clear the bar.
